So if you think you may want to "hire" me for short events, you can see if you like how the pictures are being taken.
*updates: The "let the PicTures do the talk" version is up!

For now, I am using a Panasonic Lumix FZ18 and LX3, both are Prosumers camera. Before I got the money to upgrade to a DSLR, grab me while I am cheap and good (haha, I am not that bad, so if I am not that bad, then good loh... haha~!)
I have taken many pictures in my whole 4 years (2004-08). Now currently a year 2 student at NTU. Started off as a army photographer taking down memories and even during tough times. And ever since, I feels a lot for the pictures I have taken in my life.
Places and Events that I have contact with until now.
1) Many many school events. Been the photographer everywhere, it's for FREE so far and that explains why I am highly "sought" for. (Singaporean Spirit, free eh who don't want :P)
Events include Sports, school events, exhibition, celebrations, all sorts that you can think of, most probably I have tried it. (except Professional phototaking... of course! haha :))
2) External events: Community Centre Events, Residences' Committee Events, father, mother, relatives, friends, buddies, Birthdays, important and not important events. I take lots of pictures, because I treasures memories. And I hope I can help others with it too.
There's a saying......
a picture speaks a thousand words.......
And it should :)
I enjoy photography because it allows me to capture and preserve precious memories.
The pictures I take are not ordinary ones.
I strive to make it speaks more than a thousand words... glad that it exceeded :)
This blog space is not quite completely, anyway, here "some" of the pictures :)
(just "some" out of the 100's of events that I have taken)
NTU: Nanyang Arts Festival 08. I was the treasurer, but I took on the role to take the whole journey's events.
NTU Hall's Event: Cheerobics Competition
School Event: Freshmen Orientation Camp 08
FOC: Beach Games
CAC FOC, Secret Parther's Day Photo Taking.
Karaoke Competition.

Wedding for Army Buddy: 2007

Friend's birthday celebrations.

Family's friend: Malay Wedding at the Void Deck.
And to end of with some Scenery Photography.
NTU: Hall
Singapore: City Area
Sentosa

So to sum it up, I wouldn't say that "I'm am not good enough" just to be humble. Everyone have their own unique personal preferences and I would say that "I like what I have manage to take so far" :)
I have somewhere like 50,000 pictures which is in my external harddisk labelled "un-backup".
What I am trying to say is not that I am a "showoff" to have taken that amount of pictures. I am glad for the the fact that 95% of the shots are "unique". No two shots are the same and each tells a story.... and I like it that way.
(as for the other 5%, burst rates are used as it is "needed". haha :P)
For now, I felt that I have enjoyed the process and now I would need to advance a higher level......
from using a prosumer (big camera for good pictures) to a DSLR (biggeR camera and UltrA coOL!! pictures). I have been a independent person so far, and because of that, I am quite glad that I am self sufficient. The clothes I wear, the laptop I have bought, the dream handphone that I have got(because of need), the camera that I have bought, the hall that I lived in, the food I have feed myself with (although I am still as skinny as ever haha!)
So if you would like me to capture your precious moments, feel free to contact me at 8133 1255.
This has been a wordy post, but I shall create another "super short and sweet" one. This shall just serve as a memory for myself, the story of how I started my new journey, a point to mark another starting point of my life.
Okay. Thank you for reading this (if you really finished it, or finish enduring it :P)
